They absolutely could not have found a better and more fitting voice for the character, than Tom Kenny's.He is also very expressive, spawning countless memes, although that could also be attributed to the show's humor in general. Normally, squares are associated with being dull and boring, but SpongeBob subverts this by being nautically nonsensical, which is reflected by his buck teeth, long nose, rosy cheeks, and them big 'ol eyes.
